Coursera Financial Aid

Coursera lets you apply for financial aid on most paid courses. If approved, you take the full course and earn the certificate for free.

What you get

• Full access to graded assignments and the shareable certificate
• Works on individual courses (and many Specializations, course by course)

How to claim

1. Open a paid course and choose Financial aid available below the Enroll button.
2. Fill in the short application (why you need aid, how the course helps).
3. Approval typically takes about 15 days; then enroll for free.

Good to know

You apply per course, and there’s a short waiting period. Auditing many courses is also free if you only need the material, not the certificate.
