Google Cloud

Google Cloud free tier + trial credit

Credit

$300 in free trial credit plus an always-free tier for small workloads and student projects.

Google Cloud’s free offering combines a $300 trial credit (90 days) with an always-free tier. That’s enough to host side projects, run a small VM, or learn managed services.

What you get

  • $300 in credit for the first 90 days
  • Always-free tier: a small e2-micro VM, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions quota and more
  • Occasional extra credits through Google’s student and cloud-skills programs

How to claim

  1. Start at cloud.google.com/free.
  2. Add a card to start the $300 trial (you won’t be auto-charged when it ends).
  3. Check your institution for Google Cloud student / skills-boost credits.

Good to know

The trial needs a card for identity, but Google does not auto-bill when the trial ends. You choose whether to upgrade.
